How To Help

Many people do not understand what foster care is and how it can have a negative impact on an individual's life. The lack of a stable home setting can cause ripples of pain to a child's life, development, and sense of normalcy. The last thing we want is to provide these children with just another adult who does not understand. CASA volunteers are individuals commit to visiting the child and voicing the child's needs in court.

If 10 hours a month to be a CASA volunteer is not an option for you, please consider donating a gift to CASA of St. Landry-Evangeline, Inc. to support our mission of being the voice for abused and neglected children. You may not be able to volunteer, but you can still positively impact the life of a foster youth. Your gift will help CASA continue the work that we do in the community.
