ABOUT

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of St. Landry-Evangeline, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the St. Landry and Evangeline Parishes, located in Louisiana.

 

CASA recruits, trains, and supports volunteers who serve as advocates for children involved in the foster care system. These volunteers, known as CASA advocates, work closely with children, their families, social workers, attorneys, and other professionals to gather information and make recommendations to the court about the child's well-being. CASA of St. Landry-Evangeline, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring that these vulnerable children receive the necessary support, services, and safe, permanent homes.

 

CASA volunteers are people like you. We encourage all backgrounds and professions to join us. Many of our volunteers are extraordinary people who want to make certain the voices of abused and neglected children are heard such as teachers, business professionals, retirees, stay-at-home moms, grandparents, college students
